The GDEGeM project, 2013-2015, aims to improve the conservation of the bottlenose dolphin in the North-Western Mediterranean basin. - Improving the knowledge on the population (through photo-identification, genetic analyses and passive acoustic monitoring); - Providing technical support to MPA’s managers for monitoring the species and implementing conservation measures; - Strenghtening the MPA’s network to provide a global regional management tool. Project main outputs available on - 5 scientific reports - A practical guide for MPA staff: "Methods and tools for bottlenose dolphin's management in French Mediterranean MPAs". - Standard protocols for opportunistic or scientific data collect - International Workshop "Bottlenose dolphin conservation in Monitoring in the north-western Mediterranean Sea", Marseille, December 1 & 2, 2015
